We are about a year removed from my wife and her sister driving to Florida to move her mother to be with us. A dumpster was involved. It was a painful experience for them - having to make decisions of keep/move, donate, or toss. Lots of crying. A few short months later, we had to do it all again after she passed. It was incredible how much stuff had been accumulated. I look at my almost 80-year old mother's 3 floor townhouse and start having a panic attack. We need to start now. And I look at all my own stuff and think I could easily get rid of half and I will still have too much. Edit. Edit. Edit.
