My outfit was pretty
If a wee itty-bitty
A tight squeeze, you could say.
All the pinching and pounding
All the bum bruising bouncing
Was distracting, but I had the right of way!
An awesome playlist in my ears
As I shifted through the gears,
Beginning to swerve and sway.
Ooops! Popped out into traffic
Not my best choreographic
Good thing I had the right of way!
The Rules, I did follow
But, oh, that rings hollow
As I recall the events of that day.
For what does it matter
Here and ever after
That I had the right of way?
Momentum and mass
Cared little for my ass
As I joined the roadkill buffet.
For eternity, nevertheless,
It's here that I rest
Even though I had the right of way.

"As I joined the roadkill buffet." This one line had me laughing silently with myself in the presence of family that probably think I'm a bit crazy. All jokes aside the poem is great and the message is well received. Keep up the good poetry.
Love the sentiment of the poem. Gotta be crazy to try and share the road now a days!
