(This post is an extension to the previous article, "The Agile Mindset - Beginner's Mind, Availability Bias," part of an on-going series dedicated to developing Agile mastery. It is for paid subscribers and includes additional material - sometimes brief, sometimes lengthy - to help deepen the reader's understanding of the ideas presented in the lead article.)

In the lead article I listed a couple of questions I ask myself when faced with a personnel issue as a manager or coach. I also challenged my readers with an exercise designed to increase their flexibility when working within situations where the availability bias may be having a inordinate amount of influence on the decisions they need to make. I'd like to unpack these questions a little more and explore how we, as Agilists, can minimize the adverse effects of the availability bias.
